ClassPass Expands Into Workspace Booking Through Global WeWork Partnership
Members can now use fitness credits to book premium office spaces across 100+ locations worldwide

ClassPass is betting that the future of workplace wellness goes beyond fitness classes. The subscription platform has partnered with WeWork to let members book workspace using their existing credits, marking a significant expansion beyond boutique studios and spas.
Starting now, ClassPass users can access over 100 WeWork locations across major cities including New York, Miami, Chicago, London, Sydney, and Singapore. The spaces feature premium amenities like high-speed Wi-Fi, member lounges, and on-site support staff.
The move signals ClassPass's broader strategy to capture the hybrid work trend. Recent data shows the platform has seen a 44% jump in reservations over the past year, suggesting strong demand for in-person experiences. The company is positioning itself as a one-stop solution for professionals who want to blend work productivity with wellness access.
"Consumers are eager to engage with in-person fitness and wellness experiences, not just because some formats are hard to replicate at home, but because they are seeking out community," said Fritz Lanman, CEO of Playlist, ClassPass's new parent company. "Partnering with WeWork is a natural extension of our commitment to making holistic wellness more accessible."
The partnership comes as ClassPass operates under its new parent brand Playlist, alongside Mindbody and Booker. The rebranding reflects the company's expanded focus on serving both businesses and consumers across fitness, wellness, beauty, and now workspace categories.
For WeWork, the deal represents another avenue to fill seats and generate revenue from its global portfolio. The flexible workspace provider has been working to stabilize its business model and attract diverse user bases beyond traditional corporate tenants.
WeWork CEO John Santora framed the partnership as addressing the evolving needs of remote and hybrid workers. "Our top priority at WeWork is empowering individuals to work when, where and how they're most productive," Santora said. "This partnership deepens that commitment by uniting our premium workspaces with ClassPass's wellness offerings."
The collaboration reflects broader shifts in how companies think about employee benefits and workplace flexibility. As hybrid work becomes permanent for many organizations, platforms that can bundle workspace access with wellness perks may have an edge in capturing both individual users and corporate clients.
ClassPass hasn't disclosed specific credit costs for workspace bookings or how long members can reserve spaces. The rollout appears designed to test market demand before potentially expanding the workspace category further within the Playlist ecosystem.
