French Brand Joyfuel Launches Fondant-Filled Protein Bar Across Europe
New Coeur Fondant bar features creamy center with 17g protein in two flavors

French functional food company Joyfuel has rolled out its newest protein bar innovation across European markets this month. The Joyfuel Coeur Fondant represents a significant departure from the brand's flagship offering, featuring a soft, creamy fondant center that runs through the middle of each bar.
The new product builds on Joyfuel's established presence in the European protein bar market, where the brand has carved out space with its colorful branding and candy bar-inspired approach. While the original Joyfuel Protein Bar delivers 20g of protein in a layered format, the Coeur Fondant takes a different structural approach entirely.
The fondant-filled bar contains 17g of protein, 15g of carbohydrates with less than 1g of sugar, just under 10g of fat, and 185 calories per serving. The construction places the creamy fondant filling at the core, surrounded by a doughy protein base, crunchy pieces throughout, and a chocolate coating on the exterior.
The timing reflects broader trends in European protein bars, where brands are moving beyond basic nutrition to emphasize taste and texture experiences. Joyfuel's fondant approach addresses consumer demand for dessert-like protein products without sacrificing macro profiles.
The Coeur Fondant launches in Double Chocolate and Salted Caramel flavors, targeting the premium segment of Europe's growing protein bar market. The product represents Joyfuel's push to differentiate in a crowded category where most competitors follow similar layered construction methods.
This launch signals Joyfuel's strategy to expand beyond its core protein bar while maintaining its signature approach to flavor-forward functional foods across European retail channels.
